Overview

Whether you are over or under 65, we can support your dental care options.

Plans vary widely in what they cover (preventive vs. basic vs. major), waiting periods, and annual maximums. We'll translate the fine print so you know exactly what you're getting.

We work with both Medicare Advantage dental benefits and standalone dental carriers, depending on what makes the most sense for your situation.

A closer look at dental

What dental insurance is

Dental insurance is a separate policy from your medical plan that helps pay for preventive care (cleanings, exams, X-rays), basic procedures (fillings, extractions), and major work (crowns, bridges, dentures, root canals). Most plans follow a 100/80/50 design — covering 100% of preventive, 80% of basic, and 50% of major after a small deductible.

Where the gaps usually are

Original Medicare doesn't cover routine dental at all. Employer dental often disappears at retirement. ACA marketplace plans rarely include adult dental. That leaves most adults paying out of pocket — exactly where a standalone plan pays off.

What to actually compare

Premium is the easy part. The real differences between plans are waiting periods, annual maximums, network size, and what they classify as 'basic' vs 'major.' We translate the fine print so you don't enroll in a plan that won't actually pay when you need it.

How we help

A simple, no-pressure process from first call to lifelong support.

  1. 1

    Tell us what you need

Are you due for a crown? Implants on the horizon? Just want cleanings covered? We start with how you actually use the dentist.

  2. 2

    Verify your dentist's network

Before you enroll, we confirm your current dentist is in-network — or quote out-of-network coverage if you'd rather not switch.

  3. 3

Match the plan to the work

We pick a plan with a high enough annual maximum, the right waiting periods, and coverage on the procedures you actually expect.

  4. 4

    Help when claims come in

If a claim is denied or coded wrong, call us — we'll work it out with the carrier so you don't have to.
